Pugliese Associates has retained Jim Bloom to serve the firm as a consultant.  Jim has seven years of lobbying experience in Harrisburg, Philadelphia and the surrounding counties. He has served on the transition team of Philadelphia Mayors Green, Rendell, Street and Nutter. 

Jim has been a business and civic leader in the Philadelphia community for over thirty years. He was Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of Bloom Staloff Corp., a securities firm based in Philadelphia with operations in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York City.  Mr. Bloom has served on many securities industry boards including the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, Stock Clearing Corporation of Philadelphia, and The Philadelphia Depository Trust Co.  He is a Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of a company based in Dalian, China. 

 

Among the prominent governmental and civic organizations Jim has served include:  Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of the Philadelphia Parking Authority, Commissioner and Treasurer of the Fairmount Park Commission, and Trustee of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.  He is the President of the Fairmount Park Historical Preservation Trust and serves on the Philadelphia Sports Congress and the Fund for the Water Works.  Jim is the Chairman of the Audit Committee and a member of the Executive Committee of the Team Pennsylvania Foundation.
